The best way to study for the exam is to spend extra time studying the major concepts. These are outlined at the beginning of every chapter in your textbook.  Most board/overhead notes were also key study topics.  Lastly, your chapter tests should be reviewed as they usually keyed on the major concepts and teachers regularly rework this test material on exams.  In general, exams test the major concepts, recently studied material and cumulative information.
